Create a New Mate

Introduction

Creating your own Mate can be beneficial to have a virtual collaborator perfectly tailored to your specific needs and tasks. This method is particularly useful when the Mates available in the Store do not exactly meet your specific requirements. By creating a new Mate, you can configure agents with precise skills and functions, thereby improving your team's productivity and efficiency.

Steps to Follow

1. Access the Creation of a New Mate:
   • Click on the "Manage Mates" button in the menu at the bottom left of the screen.
   • Select "Create a new Mate" to open the creation window.
2. Choose the Creation Mode:
   • A modal window will appear offering two modes: "Automatic" or "Configured".
   • "Automatic" Mode: This mode is the simplest. Just paste the instructions (Prompt) that will be applied to the Mate, then click on the "Next" button. Wait about 20 seconds for the Mate to be automatically generated with an avatar, description, assignment category, name, and the appropriate type of Mate for the expected tasks.
   • "Configured" Mode: This mode corresponds to a manual mode. In addition to the Mate's instructions (Prompt), you also need to provide a description, type, name, category, and an LLM model. Then click on the "Next" button.
3. Configure the Mate:
   • In both modes, you will arrive at the Mate configuration page.
   • Adjust the Mate's settings if necessary, such as instructions, LLM model, and desired temperature.
   • Save the changes to ensure the Mate is configured according to your organization's needs.
4. Deploy the Mate:
   • Click on the "Deploy" button to make the Mate available for use.
   • After a few seconds, the Mate will be ready to participate in Chat or Collab conversations.
