When to Use Mentions?

Steps to Follow

1. Actively Mention a Mate:
   • When to Use: Use an active mention when you want to directly solicit a response or action from a Mate.
   • How to Use:
     • Type "@" followed by the Mate’s name. A list of available Mates will appear to facilitate selection.
     • Example: "Hello @Growth Planner, can you help me define a marketing strategy?"
   • Representation: An active mention is formatted in blue text on a light blue background.
2. Passively Mention a Mate:
   • When to Use: Use a passive mention to name a Mate without soliciting immediate action, for example, to provide instructions or context.
   • How to Use:
     • Type "@@" followed by the Mate’s name. A list of available Mates will appear to facilitate selection.
     • Example: "For this task, we should involve @@Creatix in the brainstorming."
   • Representation: A passive mention is formatted in blue text on a white background.
3. Mention Users:
   • When to Use: Use a mention to include other users in the conversation or collaboration.
   • How to Use:
     • Type "@" followed by the user’s name. A list of available users will appear to facilitate selection.
     • Example: "@Steve Jobs, could you check this document?"
   • Representation: User mentions follow the same formatting rules as Mate mentions.
