Once you have created your account and logged in to GPT Mates, it is important to set up your profile and customize the basic settings to optimize your user experience. Here are the detailed steps to guide you through this initial configuration.

Steps to Follow

1. Access the Profile Configuration Page:
   • After your first login, you will be automatically redirected to the profile configuration page.
   • If you wish to access this page later, click on your avatar at the bottom of the left menu, then on your email address to open the profile management window.
2. Fill in the Profile Information:
   • First and Last Name: Ensure that your first and last name are correctly entered.
   • Title in the Organization: Indicate your title or role within the organization (e.g., Marketing Director, Developer, etc.). This helps other users and Mates understand your role and responsibilities.
   • Profile Description: Provide a brief description of your missions and responsibilities within the organization. This information helps Mates better understand how to collaborate with you.
   • Profile Picture: Click on the default avatar to upload a profile picture. Prefer a square photo of less than 250 KB for better display quality.
3. Configure Notification Preferences (Upcoming Feature):
   • Access the notification settings section to customize how you want to receive notifications (by email, push notifications, etc.).
   • Enable or disable notifications for different types of events, such as mentions, new messages, and important updates.
4. Configure Language Preferences (Upcoming Feature):
   • Access the language settings section to choose the main language used in the GPT Mates interface.
   • Select the desired language from the dropdown menu. This allows Mates to prioritize this language in their responses, which is particularly useful in an international context.
5. Configure Security Preferences (Upcoming Feature):
   • Access the security settings section to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if available. This adds an extra layer of security to your account.
   • Change your password if necessary to ensure the security of your account.
6. Save Changes:
   • Once you have filled in all the information and configured your preferences, click on the "Save" button to save the changes.
